The Story of Bun Cha Ta

Bun Cha Ta was born from a deep love for one of Hanoi’s most iconic dishes — Bún Chả.

Our journey began in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, where the aroma of charcoal-grilled pork has filled the streets for generations. Inspired by traditional family recipes and the rich culinary heritage of Northern Vietnam, Bun Cha Ta was founded with one simple mission: to preserve the authentic taste of Hanoi-style Bun Cha and share it with the world.

From a Small Street to an International Favorite

Our first restaurant opened on Gia Ngư Street in Hanoi Old Quarter. From the very beginning, we focused on three core values:

After success in Hanoi, we expanded to Hoi An Ancient Town — a UNESCO heritage destination known for its lantern-lit streets and vibrant culture.

At our Hoi An location, we proudly bring the true taste of Northern Vietnam to Central Vietnam. Even though Hoi An is famous for dishes like Cao Lau and White Rose dumplings, many visitors search for authentic Hanoi-style Bun Cha — and Bun Cha Ta delivers exactly that.
